COD Verification

Verify COD | COD to Prepaid ("the App") provides cash-on-delivery (COD) order verification, IVR and WhatsApp confirmation, OTP verification, and COD-to-prepaid conversion services ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

The App is operated by Onjection Labs Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, including:

• Orders — order details, order status, payment method, shipping address, and fulfillment information to identify COD orders and process verification.
• Customers — customer name, phone number, email address, and shipping details associated with orders that require verification.
• Store information — store name, domain, and settings needed to configure and operate the App.
• Products and pricing — product and pricing information where required to support COD-to-prepaid conversion offers.

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

• Merchant account information — such as your name, email address, phone number, billing information, and login credentials when you register for or manage your App account.
• Customer verification data — phone numbers used for IVR calls, WhatsApp messages, and OTP verification; customer responses to verification requests; and records of whether an order was confirmed, rejected, or converted to prepaid.
• Communication and activity logs — call logs, WhatsApp message delivery status, notification logs, and verification timestamps related to the Service.
• Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data when you access the App dashboard or our website.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, through telephony and messaging services used to deliver verification, or using the following technologies:

• Log files — track actions on our systems and may include IP address, browser type, referring pages, and date/time stamps.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App, including to:

• Verify COD orders through IVR calls, WhatsApp messages, and OTP verification;
• Send order confirmation and COD-to-prepaid conversion notifications to your customers;
• Update order status and verification results in your Shopify store;
• Provide analytics, reporting, and notification logs within the App;
• Process billing, wallet recharges, and account management;
• Communicate with you about the App, support requests, and service updates;
• Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the App.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with:

• Service providers — such as cloud hosting providers, telephony/IVR providers, and WhatsApp messaging providers, solely to operate the Service.
• Shopify — as required for the App to function with your Shopify store.
• Affiliated companies — such as Onjection Labs Pvt Ltd and related products (including Shipway and Ezyslips) where needed to provide support or related services you request.
• Legal and safety purposes — when required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests, or to protect our rights and the rights of others.

Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us using the details below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, when you use the App to verify orders), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to India and other countries where our service providers operate.

Data Retention

We retain order and verification information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Merchants may request deletion of their account data by contacting us. When you uninstall the App, we will delete or anonymize store data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as billing records.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and access controls, to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
